When the sun is shining down there’s no better place to be…
Hop on your bikes and explore the 22km Millennium Cycle Path or spend a lazy afternoon around our fishing lake. Challenge the family to a round of Crazy Golf, or let the little ones release some energy in our outdoor play park, whilst you watch over them from our sunny Bar terrace. And it wouldn’t be a proper camping holiday without a game of rounders, football or frisby – our large Games Field is perfect for a fun family kick-about.
And when the rain stops play we’re sunny on the inside…
We understand how disheartening it can be when you book a ‘staycation’ only to be faced with daily downpours, so we’ve made sure we have plenty to keep families entertained when the British weather tempts you indoors. Splash about in our Indoor heated swimming pool, or spend the afternoon in our Soft Play Area. Kids can spend their holiday pennies in our Arcade room, with a whole host of exciting new games and machines, and have fun winning tokens to exchange for prizes in our all new redemption shop. Garry, Leah, Aaron & Brad from our entertainment team host regular themed afternoon parties & of course there’s our fun & lively Kids Club (weekends & school holidays).

Out and About…
Looking to explore the area? We are only 20 minutes’ drive from the stunning blue flag beaches of Wales’ famous Gower Coast, the first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK. Or take a trip up to Pembrey Country Park (at the other end of the Millennium Coastal Path) and indulge in some dry-slope skiing, horse-riding, tobogganing or mountain biking through scenic pine forests! Bird enthusiasts will love the National Wetlands Centre, just around the corner from us and Llanelli’s revamped North Dock area has a lovely beach, brand new café and excellent ice-cream kiosk (with special doggy ice-creams to treat your four-legged companions!) If you crave a little retail therapy, Trostre & Pemberton Retail Parks are just minutes up the road and the city of Swansea, with its sweeping bay & marina, is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.

Everyone is welcome at Gateway Resort! You don’t need to be staying on site with us to call in for a few drinks or take in one of our Live Shows. Local residents can come and use our Swimming Pool, Soft Play Area or enjoy a special meal with friends & family.
